BROD. DODONG NEMENZO AND BROD. HEBER BARTOLOME GRACE TESTIMONIAL DINNER

In celebration of the victory of the Plebeians who ventured to run in the recently concluded 2008 USC-CSC elections, a testimonial dinner was launched last October 8 at the SEARCA Canteen. Former UP President Francisco Nemenzo and Musical Artist Heber Bartolome attended the said event, along with other respected homegrown alumni.

In his speech, Brod.Dodong stated the need for social equality and encouraged the Plebeians to continue serving the people by sharing his firsthand experiences as a pioneer of the organization, an activist and a UP official. Sis Chaba responded and emphasized the responsibility of UP students, which she believed is not at all confined within the perimeter of the campus but extends to the national level.

KAPATIRANG PLEBEIANS ALUMNI HOMECOMING 2008

Alumni and resident members gathered together at the DL Umali Auditorium last August 9. Representatives from each decade of the batches, including the revival batches, shared, in a pleasant sense of nostalgia, glimpses of the brotherhood in the past, while resident members express their fervent struggle to keep aflame the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among the Plebeians.

The homecoming was also highlighted by the inauguration of the pleBEiANATIONALIST exhibit, which was displayed at the CAS Anx II Bldg of UPLB from September 15-19.

The event emerged to be successful and served as another of those fellowship activities which aim to strengthen the internal ties of the brotherhood.
